Get Involved This Year

We have some very exciting events planned for 2024!  Our hands-on seminars are designed to pass along practical skills to women through enriching and fun events all over the country.  To see if there are any events coming up in your city, check out the Events section on our website!

Read on for some of the events coming up this February.

The Well Stocked and Well Organized Kitchen

This seminar is about a room in the house that is a favorite of many of us. The source of delicious food that evokes memories, conversation, and love, the kitchen is a sacred space within each and every one of our homes. As Saint Teresa of Avila once said, “God walks among the pots and pans”- and how true it is!

The Well Stocked & Well Organized Kitchen Seminar has two parts.  The first part focuses on the physical layout of our kitchens, the equipment we use, and how to stock our pantries.  This section of the seminar hones in on the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, as well as its visual appeal and functionality.

The second part of the seminar highlights the actual food being prepared in our kitchens.  We will discuss nutrition, meal planning, left-overs- you name it! This section of the seminar is all about ditching fad diets and unhealthy eating habits and embracing truly nourishing options instead.  In addition, we will explain how to plan your meals so that cooking is enjoyable and productive rather than stressful and chaotic.

Join us from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Elms University Center in Chicago to participate in this seminar!
