Making a Home: Beauty, Welcome and Belonging

Houston, Texas
The Home of Susana and Josè Castañeda

3:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Class 1: A Longing for Home
In this talk, Ana de Lange explores the universal human longing for home—both as a physical space and a place of emotional belonging. She reflects on what makes a home nurturing, welcoming, and supportive, and how it shapes the people who live within it. Attendees will gain practical insights for creating a home that fosters connection, comfort, and personal growth.

Class 2: The Art of Simple Flower Arranging
Amanda Salmon enjoys sharing beauty with others by surprising elderly friends with vases of flowers she has arranged herself. She has created the beautiful floral arrangements for two of our seminars and will now teach us her techniques. Come learn how simple touches of beauty can brighten your home.
