A three-week series designed for parents to explore practical, creative, and meaningful ways to enrich daily life at home—through wise budgeting, creating spaces of beauty and rest, and caring for loved ones during life’s transitions.
CLASS #1: Good Family Living on a Limited Budget
Learn the basics of planning, budgeting, and spending, along with practical tips! This session features an experienced speaker in managing family and business budgets. A hands-on activity will focus on creating and discussing household food, clothing, and personal budgets.
CLASS #2: Creating Sanctuary Spaces and Beautiful Meals
So many of us live ”life on the run.” This session will guide us in identifying spaces at home where we can step back from daily demands and find renewal. In addition, we will introduce the art of “eating with your eyes first.” Through examples and a hands-on demonstration, we will learn techniques of “food plating” and presentation that bring beauty to everyday meals.
CLASS #3: Transitions in Life Require Knowledge, Care, and Beauty at Home
We will share some tools and techniques to strengthen abilities to maintain independence in the home for the elderly. This session will include interactive demonstrations on mobility, nutrition, and hygiene. An experienced florist, will guide us in creating simple yet beautiful flower arrangements that bring joy and warmth to any home.
